Christian Dior, Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012

Yes, it's Haute Couture time and it really doesn't get much better than this.
I am so in love with this Christian Dior collection, presented during Paris fashion week. 

 I adore the classic feminine looks, old Hollywood glamor and delicate tulle.
I am also taken away by the makeup and styling of the models - so simple, but so wonderful! In the days of Nicky Minaj, it's so refreshing to see fashion remind us that 'less is more', and a gorgeous look doesn't necessarily need much more than a flawless complexion, eyeliner, mascara and a beautifully fitting dress.

Givenchy Haute Couture for Fall 2011 is in this beautiful pale and off-white palette, delicate embroideries and embellishments, gorgeous tulle . . . in my mind, that is how a whisper would look like, if you were to try and wear it.
