Victoria's Secret, Swimsuits 2012

Is it too early to be thinking about swimsuits and sunny beaches? 

While there is never really a bad time to be thinking about a nice sunny vacation, I normally don't over-think it in cold February.

However, this smoldering (but very tasteful) clip for Victoria's Secret latest swimsuit collection has got me under its spell.

Directed by Greg Kadel, the video features favorite angels Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel, Edita Vilkeviciute and Lily Aldridge, among others.

I love this film and I love the Victoria's Secret models, but after this has been released, the standards for beachwear attire are set way up (is there any hope for us mortals? ;)

The latest from Calzedonia swimwear, the Summer 2011 "One island thousand colors" campaign, is indeed an explosion of colors. The designs don't offer much details or busy patterns, but are beautifully fitted and divinely simple. Sometimes less is more.

Lingerie and swimwear label Huit offers exceptional items. The latest collection, Spring/Summer 2011, is refreshingly casual, fun, flattering and full of lovely details. I love the buttons we see in this collection (such an unusual detail to see in swimsuits) and the hip-hugging bikini.

The Jungle Divinity collection from Saha Swimwear is absolutely brilliant!
Not that I ever post things I don't like, but these designs make it to the next category - oh, yes, I adore those. The colors, the patterns (and brave mixing of patterns), the fit and the wonderful details (embellishments, embroidery). . . the list goes on . . . see for yourself (open the whole post to see all the pictures).
