Burberry Prorsum, Fall 2011
I have already posted some images of the all-black creations from Burberry Prorsum from Pre-Fall 2011, but not I'm posting some more of my favorites from this collection. Love the trench coats (see celebrities who love the classic trench coat), leather belts and, of course, the boots. Burberry is THE label for Fall!

Alexander McQueen, Pre-Fall 2011
Designer Sarah Burton proudly stands behind the Alexander McQueen label. She is the creative director whom we need to thank for this Pre-Fall collection. I thought it would be a drag to see any more military-inspired looks for fall, or girls wearing "boys' clothes" but I was wrong! I think this creative work is sublime. Navy- and military-inspired coats, buttons and collars are combined with strictly feminine skirts, dresses and gold embellishments. Above all, I think I am mesmerized by these beautiful reds and hot pinks - such a treat for the eye! It's refreshing to see something else than browns and neutrals (since these are very popular for Fall 2011). Yet, we still see a lot of black (the number one choice for all designers this time of year).

Preen, Pre-Fall 2011
Not to say that the summer is over, but it's time to look at Pre-Fall 2011 collections.
These are a few pieces I love from Preen. The dominating color palette for Pre-Fall, overall, includes black, brown and other earth tones, so it is very refreshing to see such pop of color here and there.

Fashion Inspiration: All Black Ensemble by Burberry Prorsum, Pre-Fall 2011
Burberry Prorsum is my absolute favorite label for coats. The Pre-Fall 2011 collection by Christopher Bailey shows the beauty of dark colors and I particularly like the all-black looks. Often going for all-black outfits myself, I couldn't but appreciate those. Black on black, paired with a fierce knee-high leather boot or belt - perfection!
