The Sugar Bowl, a 'Depression-era ski resort' near Lake Tahoe is a spectacular place, appreciated by keen skiers. The Huneeus family was lucky enough to find an empty lot in the area where they built their 3,800 square foot house with the help of Bay Area architect John Maniscalco.

Architects who designed this magnificent property in Spain were influenced and inspired by the surrounding landscape in creating the overall feel and look. The house stands on two floors and offers a TV and dining room, a game room, main service area, room for the family's collection of wines and a spacious garage.

 

Living Bliss: Moroccan Retreat

This amazing property in Palmaraie, near the city or Marakesh, Morocco is the creative vision of architect Helena Marczewski and interior designer Esther Gutmer. The estate escapes both the noise and crowds of the city, and the heat and dust of summer Morocco by hiding in a plantation of palm trees. The architecture and interior design combine the organic qualities that characterize the traditional Moroccan earth homes with contemporary passion. Such a blend was a must for the owners, a Belgo-Moroccan family, who hired the Belgian interior designer to bring pieces of Europe in their Moroccan home.

Living Bliss: Modern Meets Midieval in an English Family Home

London based Threefold Architects have designed this family home just outside Bath, England. How did they do it? By reconstructing a set of warehouses. Series of stairs and walkways connect the converted and reconstructed warehouses, leaving exposed wooden beams and stone walls. The results are stunning!
