The Night of the Oscars: Afterparties' fashion

As if all the posing on the red carpet and the long evening of the awards ceremony wasn't exhausting enough, many of the celebrities hit the after-parties organized by Vanity Fair and The Elton John Aids Foundation. Over there, the stars graced photographers with more posing and new looks.
Many of the stars slipped into sexy minis for the second half of the night. Amanda Seyfried was lovely in Valentino Haute couture. Diane Kruger changed from her Chanel into Kelvin Klein. Natalie Portman was in Lanvin. I really like Julianne Moore in her choice of Kelvin Klein and Bulgari jewels, where the ring is my winner. Such a beautiful color for her complexion and dress! Hilary Swank woke a revealing Armani Prive that looked amazing on her. Olivia Wilde looked very classy in Roland Mouret. For me, personally, Jennifer Lopez had another hit look for that night. She not only changed the dress, but also make up. At the Vanity Fair after-party she wore a black Gucci gown and smoky eye make-up with nude/peachy lips. Selma Blair looked more unconventional compared to the majority of gowns and minis, as her jacket brought more of a 'professional look'. What do you think. Is this look a winner for you, or not a big success?

If I have to pick a winner for that part of the night, it would have to be Cameron Diaz.  Her Victoria Beckham dress was the perfect compliment for her fit body and ideal medium between the glamorous gown for the Academy Awards and the overly sexy  and revealing mini dress. The word for me is perfection! Kate Bosworth looked very fresh in this Valentino gown and Katy Perry was very much herself in a Zuhair Murad dress.

There was a variety at the Elton John Aids Foundation afterparty as well. Heidi Klum showed of her long gams in an embellished mini. Victoria Beckham wore a dress of her own collection that (not surprisingly for the A-star) fitted her perfectly. Salma Hayek looked great in Alexamder McQueen. Young star Hayden Panettiere glowed in a cute brown Amanda Wakeley dress and sported an new hairdo. I really like hair color for her.
Do you have a favorite?
