Lovely Little Thing: Ruby Gold

Italian jewelry master Mario Buccellati (early 20th century) is to be applauded for these lovely antique handmade gold earrings with cabochon rubies. Beautiful work with adorable antique character!

Lovely Little Thing: Keshi Pearl Earrings

These keshi pearls are so lovely! A refreshingly different look from the traditional cultured pearl. Add gold, patinated silver and diamonds in an intricate design - and there you have it - lovely little earclips by Marilyn Cooperman.

Lovely Little Thing: Diamond Wood Flowers

I am head over heals in love with these vintage diamond wood flower earrings created by Van Cleef & Arpens in France, 1970.

Lovely Little Thing: Pink Diamond Watch

Natural pink diamonds and white diamonds, beautifully crafted into this stunning Chopard "Casmir" pink diamond watch. So dreamy, so luxurious and breathtakingly beautiful! I can't take my eyes off this lovely creation by the watch-masters at the Swiss-establishment Chopard (however, this beauty was created in France) . . . let's just admire it for a moment . . .

Coco Rocha for Senhoa

I love Coco Rocha! She is an amazing professional model, a beautiful woman (with great sense of humor) and a free spirit with an admirable attitude about life. Photographers and designers love working with her and her fans adore her, because she is so down to earth.
Well, Coco has been keeping busy recently, although she took most of the runways fashion season off. She's been working on her documentary Letters to Haiti (which I'd love to see when it comes out next month). She's been also busy putting on the final touches on her very own jewelry collection for Senhoa (yes, she's been making the designs herself!). The great news is that it's being revealed TODAY, so make sure you see these amazing pieces! The most thrilling part of it all is that sells from the collection (pieces ranging from $65 to $995) will go to help victims of human trafficking in Cambodia. Great job, Coco! . . .

Lovely Little Thing: Halleh Necklace

This 18-carat bio tourmaline Halleh necklace is precisely what the category {Lovely Little Thing} was created for! I think it's just stunningly beautiful and comes to show that tiny little lovely things can be making a big statement. Not that I don't love big bold accessories, but I am a huge admirer of small and delicate creations such as this one.

Lovely Little Thing: Marni cuff

I really like Marni jewelry - it's original, fun and beautiful work of art.
This black satin ribbon-tie gold-tone brass mesh cuff is just perfect, don't you think?

Lovely Little Thing: YSL Ring

This Yves Saint Laurent Arty gold-plated glass ring has been on my mind for a while now. The glass embellishment comes in a variety of beautiful colors, but I find that I really admire the toffee shade (to my surprise, as I usually prefer the deeper jewel tones). A real beauty, this ring.

Lovely Little Thing: Matte is Best

I am absolutely in love with this Alexis Bittar Matte Tapered Cuff. I still can't decide if, in general, I like more gloss or matte finishes. However, there are some occasions, where a matte finish creates THE perfect look. This cuff is one example.

I couldn't help but think how great it would look with a CND Ruffian Mani, which Nihrida did a great job recreating on her blog (she is my manicure guru).

Stay beautiful!

This Kate Spade silver bow bracelet is adorable. It could be such a wonderful accessory for a lovely cocktail dress.

It's Mid week and almost time to celebrate New Year's Eve. I hope you have exciting plans!

Lovely or Not? Insect earrings.

I saw these Magicicada Earrings at ModCloth. These are polished brass, life-size representation of the insect Cicada. Its peculiar life cycle holds fascination among biologists, but does not hold great aesthetic value for me personally. I don't make good friends with bugs and I am really hesitant about putting one on my ear, even one made from brass. What do you think?

Fashion inspiration: sublime geometry

Hello everyone!

If you like fine craftsmanship and have a taste for jewelry, you just have to see the work of Laura Lombardi. The designer prefers the combination of brass and geometric forms to create exquisite ornaments that have a unique vintage look. The Triangle necklace, Brass Trapezoid necklace and the Triangle Cascade necklace, in particular, have an ancient Egyptian feel, which I love. Prices are very affordable ranging from $22 to $155.

Have a good day, everyone!

Fashion inspiration: dinosaurs

This Giles Dinosaur beaded necklace is cute and glamorous. The black beaded dinosaur has a red crystal eye on a wide link silver chain. I'd love to pair this with a cute cocktail dress for a fun night out.

Darcy Miro for Unholy Matrimony - the result is this unique 18k Bubble cuff with black diamonds. The abstract form and shapes, the vibrant yellow gold and the black diamond are divine.

Lovely or Not: The ring and the motorcycle

Mod Cloth have all sorts of items, some are fun, some are fabulous, but some are pretty bizarre.

This ring had the story The ring and the motorcycle ... "Do you feel the need for speed? Put your fashion pedal to the metal by slipping on this cute and edgy ring! Its brushed silver mouse is decked with sparkling rhinestones, which match the glimmer you get in your eye when you and your friends are out for a spin. Wear it to spruce up a cute tee by day, or to catch flashing lights by night!"
Did you just go: "Huh" or "What!?" I know this was my reaction. The little mouse is actually cute, but I'm not entirely sure if I want it on my ring. What is really mind-boggling, however, is how is any of that related to motorcycles? It's a mystery...

What do you think?
