The Fashion Color Trends report for Spring / Summer 2010 wows with a variety of beautiful colors that will brighten the streets for the months to come. There are a lot of pastel colors (which I have always adored), but also brights, green-based colors , earth tones, pinks and yellows. Overall, the palette for Spring / Summer 2010 is very joyous, young-looking and definitely feminine. We are likely to see some of the brights combined in busy patterns.
The romantic trend in fashion is expected to return where the inspiration is the Pop art from the 60s and 70s.
2010 brings back the fairy-tale dress and romantic gown along with "ruffles, rosette clusters and delicate capelets" (Tania Braukamper). Many designers seem to be moving away from the sleek silhouette and presenting a more romantic and purely feminine look.
